hay all,

Well I've just picked up and connected my IPod fifth gen nano, eagerly anticipating an easy accessible setup...nope! Registering the thing is inaccessible as hell from within ITunes, for a start. Anyways, I got that done and transfered loads of stuff into my music library. The sync itself took about 45 mins...for 12 gigs I'm guessing that is not necessary that bad. I've enabled voice over and spoken menus...the menus speak...the artists, song names ETC? do not. The languages of ITunes and the IPod match and I've already reset it once. Now upon the second cync after my reset, ITunes says the sync is complete but now just sits there, saying that its generating the voice over prompts and not to eject the IPod...the problem is, it has been saying this with no noticeable processor power being used and for over an hour now...I'm starting to think something is a bit screwed. Can anyone suggest a fix here?

thanks

Depending on the songs, it could take a long time. You said that you copyed 12 gigs of music? That could take a while, sense it has to generate all the tags for VO, I have never copyed 12 GB of music at a time, but not sure. What version of iTunes are you using? 9.1 is out now, along wih the new voice OverKit. I also have the iPod nano 5th Gen
